Kelly Engineering Resources is searching for a Construction Superintendent with experience overseeing commercial/industrial projects such as hospitals, education or pharma/biotech related facilities. Our client is a design build firm with a record of repeat business from prior customers. Their portfolio ranges from small $50K upgrades to new builds & expansions valued up to $200 MIL. Their success is due to attention to detail, quality workmanship excellent communication and a safety focus. Job Scope: In this role you will be responsible for managing field operations and maintain positive relationships with subcontractors, QC Manager, vendors, and employees. Must be able to:



  • Administer contract and scope of work,

  • Hold daily tailgate meetings

  • Direct and ensure health and safety compliance

  • Manage project schedules and budgets, and complete projects on time.


You will also responsible for administrative processes and adherence to company policies.



Qualifications of the Successful Construction Superintendent:



  • 5+ years’ experience as construction superintendent working on hospital, pharma/biotech research laboratories, or education projects.


    • Mid-level candidates should have a project progression from of small $50K to $20+ MIL and on own and under Sr. Construction Superintendent.

    • Sr. Construction Superintendents should have a progressive project record up to $100+ MIL in value.



  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook

  • Ability to read blueprints/drawings

  • Ability to manager and resolve conflicts amicably

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Flexibility, creativity and excellent communication skills

  • Must be self-motivated and committed to the highest level of professional development
