Construction Project Manager


 


Kelly Engineering Resources is searching for all levels of Construction Project Manager with experience managing commercial/industrial build projects for hospitals, education or pharma/biotech related facilities. Our client is a design build firm with a record of repeat business from prior customers. Their portfolio ranges from small $50K upgrades to new builds & expansions valued up to $200 MIL. Their success is due to attention to detail, quality workmanship excellent communication and a safety focus. Job Scope and Essential Responsibilities:



  • You will oversee all responsibilities for specific projects including but not limited to:


    • the budget (profit/loss, payables and receivables)


    • developing and maintaining client and A/E relationships


    • managing schedules, superintendents and subcontractors.




  • You will completely understand owner contract and ensure quality workmanship and safety controls.


  • You will be responsible for handling meetings, communication, permitting, inspections, photo process, site logistic, punch lists, change orders and documentation, and distributing and presenting exhibits to the project team.


Qualifications of the Successful Project Manager:



  • BA/BS in related field and minimum 2-4 years’ relevant work experience with construction projects valued up to $2-10 MIL


    • Sr. Project Managers and Project Executives (Managers of Project Managers) encouraged to apply


    • Prior experience with either hospitals, education, pharma/biotech, research laboratory facilities, required,




  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, Prolog and Primavera


  • Good management skills


  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment


  • Ability to read blueprints/drawings


  • Ability to handle conflicts


  • Must be self-motivated and committed to the highest level of professional development


Compensation: Full benefits package and compensation commensurate with project management experience.
