Kelly Outsourcing & Consulting Group (KellyOCG), a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking a Laboratory Software Technician for a long-term engagement at one of our leading clients in Irvine, CA.  This role is a full-time, fully benefitted position.   As a KellyOCG employee you will be eligible for Medical, Dental, 401K and a variety of other benefits to choose from.   You’ll also be eligible for paid time off, including holiday, vacation and sick/personal time.  All KellyOCG employees receive annual performance reviews.


 


As a Laboratory Software Technician placed with KellyOCG you will be responsible for the following:



  • Follow software testing protocols and procedures as well as be able to accurately record software results and data which are displayed on the graphical user interface.

  • Perform all testing in accordance with GMPs, SOPs, safety rules and project schedule. Performs qualitative and quantitative analysis of software under general supervision following SOPs and special test designs; and completes required documentation.

  • Help investigate testing abnormalities and implement corrective action.

  • Perform analytical testing special projects by supporting the development of new methods and test transfers and performing investigative test analysis as required. 

  • Assist with validation and test methods and test correlations.

  • Adhere to environmental policy, procedures, and supports department environmental objectives.


 


SKILLS DESIRED:



  • Excellent communication and computer skills.

  • Technical ability to understand computer hardware, electrical, electronic work and to be hands-on to assemble and disassemble test equipment and fixtures.

  • Knowledge of R&D laboratories test analysis, knowledge and experience in software testing disposition, and control.
