Team Developer


2nd Shift-3pm to 1am


Pay: $17.11 per hour

SUMMARY


In addition to performing the same duties as members of assigned team, guidance and assistance is provided to fellow team members to ensure production goals are achieved.  Coordinate day-to-day activities in work area as directed. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Assist with training team members and coordinate OJT


Provide feedback to Supervisors on team members’ performance


Attend CAC meetings when requested


Prepare work area for daily production runs, including making certain parts and materials are available for production


Ensure production schedule is followed


Monitor production and escalate production issues as required


Prepare manufacturing production reports as required


Drive 6s within work area Monitor WIP and order parts


Investigate failures from other areas, and ensure team members are aware of defects Works safely at all times and complies with Environmental Health and Safety standards and work practices along with all other work rules 

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS


High school diploma or equivalent education required


Minimum of one year of relevant experience or equivalent training required


Minimum 8th grade reading, writing and math skills required


Basic computer skills required, including keyboarding, mouse usage, opening and closing programs and files using MS Windows and familiarity with applicable Jabil software packages 

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS


May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time


Frequently required to walk, bend, lift, push, load, unload, and carry materials and products up to 50 lbs


Specific vision abilities required include close vision for inspection of finished product, use of PC monitor, reading drawings, prints, visual aids, and other documents


Good manual dexterity required 



 

WORK ENVIRONMENT


Individual’s work station is located in the manufacturing area


May include exposure to machinery with moving parts and high temperature surfaces


The noise level is low to moderate Low level of dust/dirt and chemical fumes exposure  


May occasionally be required to wear ventilation mask and protective clothing
