Assignment Type: Long-term contract
Shifts/Schedule:
- Monday – Friday (4:45am -1:15pm)
- Monday – Friday (1:00pm – 9:30pm)
*Occasional overtime, weekends and supporting other shifts as needed
Job Description:
- The position is responsible for the receiving, dispositioning, and storage of human blood plasma in preparation of plasma production runs in the Teardown department.
- This person will perform basic troubleshooting tasks for the Automated Plasma Dispositioning System (APDS) Sorting Line.
- Under the direction of a Supervisor or Lead Operator, the Manufacturing Technician is responsible for executing all processes in production, while strictly adhering to cGMP, environmental health and safety guidelines and other related regulations that could apply.
- This person is expected to fully participate in both departmental projects and any quality working teams when applicable.
- He/she is expected to keep an updated record of training.
Additional Information:
- PPE will be provided (eye protection, gloves, masks, cutters)
- Safety shoes are required
- Work environment is between 36 and 46 degrees fahrenheit
- Employees may have to work in -4 fahrenheit conditions (adequate PPE will be provided under these circumstances)
