Accounting Assistant
Contract to Hire
$15/hr
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the process of vendor invoices in a timely and accurate manner
- Communicate effectively with team members and vendors Process vendor payments
- Prepare and analyze general ledger accounts
- Prepare journal entries for month end processing
- Maintain vendor files
- Research vendor statements
- Perform credit card reconciliations
- Must possess very strong organizational skills and have the ability to manage multiple projects
- Other duties may be assigned at manager s discretion
EXPERIENCE
- Excellent PC skills preferred, including knowledge of Great Plains Microsoft Dynamics and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment
- Critical thinking skills
- Desire to learn and succeed
- Accounts Payable experience preferred
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work within deadlines
- Must have attention to accuracy and detail
- Must have punctuality and reliability
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment preferred
