This is a Direct Hire opportunity for a Human Resources assistant in Florence, SC. This role is with one of the largest food manufacturers in the south east and has over 1,000 employees and growing! QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Minimum of 5-years of human resources experience working in a manufacturing and human resources environment.

  • Plant start-up experience is a significant plus.

  • Strong background in employee relations issues.

  • Demonstrated bilingual Spanish speaking/translation ability preferred.

  • Thorough understanding of federal, state and local laws.

  • Strong analytical skills, communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.

  • Experience in HRIS software Ultimate preferred

  • Must project a positive and professional image.

  • Communicate effectively orally and in writing.

  • Be able to make decisions within scope of the job. Be readily receptive of additional training for the broadening of skills.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:



  • 2 or 4 year degree in Human Resources or related fields preferred.

    1-2 years’ experience in human resources in a manufacturing environment preferred.

    Highly organized; detail oriented; accurate; follow-through on execution of projects and tasks.

    Must have the ability to maintain confidential information.

    Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills.

    Must have working knowledge and skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

    Bi-lingual in English/Spanish is preferred.

    ADP, Ultipro or related HRIS systems experience a plus.
