Kelly Services is seeking qualified candidates for Automotive Assembly roles! This is a unique opportunity for an immediate "direct hire" career position with one of the world's top 100 automotive suppliers, Webasto Convertibles!
1st shift – 4am till 4pm – 7 days a week until April. 5 to 7 days per week thereafter.
Pay: $14.00 per hour plus Blue Cross Blue Shield Medical, Vision, Dental, and 401k benefits after only 30 days! Time and a half for all overtime!
Currently paying a holiday bonus rate of $17 per hour until February 1st.
Located in Plymouth near Haggerty Rd. and Plymouth Rd.
Job Duties:
- Obtain parts and place into appropriate locations (i.e. bushings into holes, rivets into bushings, clips into slots, parts into fixtures, etc.)
- Load Assemblies properly into fixtures as required
- Operate the machinery to perform the task (i.e. bushing press, rivet stake, torque gun, clip installation tools, scanners, printers, overhead Material Handling equipment, etc.)
- Inspect each part for quality defects
- Proactively participate in problem solving activities and assist in corrective actions
- Careful handling of equipment, material and suspect material utilizing the established procedures and guidelines
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 6 months of manufacturing assembly experience preferred.
- Must have a steady work history with 2 years of work experience.
- Must have the ability to do repetitive work and lift 20 pounds.
- Must be able to regularly twist, bend, walk and stand for long periods of time.
- Must be comfortable using power tools.
- Must be able to work overtime.
