Kelly Services is seeking candidates for Production Worker/ Assembler positions in Indianapolis, IN.
These are 40-hour per week, long term contract to hire positions.
Pay: $14.25 per hour
Monday-Friday, 1st shift, 7 am – 3:30 pm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performing manual and machine supported tasks to fill, inspect, assemble, cap, freeze, label, and/or package products.
- Manually fills and/or operates filling equipment for type of product and sizes of containers specified.
- Assembles components in proper sequence using appropriate devices/equipment.
- Visually inspects assemblies/mix freeze for proper fit of components, operates test jigs, and/or records readings of results.
- Labels tubes, or containers, applies labels to boxes, cans, pails, etc.
- Operates label application equipment, as required.
- Puts packaged product into boxes, seals boxes by manually applying tape or operating a taping machine.
- Places filled cartridges or caps in a cryogenic medium, as required.
- Accurately calculates number of tubes and/or material required for each order and performs basic calculations to ensure appropriate ratio of material available or required to complete work orders per instruction.
- Lifts filled boxes of components from stand; places boxes on pallets and/or stacks in assigned area.
- Perform 100% quality check on each tube filled during the button board process. Participates in 5S activities.
- Complies with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements and procedures at all times.
- Performs other tasks as assigned
