Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Sales Manager for territory management in South Texas, Louisiana, and the Mississippi I-10 corridor. This role works in conjunction with the National Sales Manager located in Florida, providing sales and customer service support to Adhesives Technology’s Building Supply and Industrial Distribution accounts, as well as contractor and engineering support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a call cycle and territory management system to support distribution partners and key contacts in all client locations.

  • Build rapport with distribution accounts based on trust and added value.

  • Collaborate with contractors to drive product demand using a pull-through strategy for distribution accounts.

  • Present products and services to structural and civil engineers to generate specifications for high-performance products and provide technical support.

  • Conduct hands-on product training for distribution staff, local engineers, and contractors.

  • Engage in daily prospecting for new distribution and contractor business, utilizing various sources for sales leads.

  • Strive to improve margins by adjusting product and customer mix.

  • Work collaboratively with sales counterparts in other regions and the Inside Sales Team.

  • Professionally manage customer complaints and deliver high levels of service.

  • Maintain daily CRM detailing efforts and progress.

  • Help develop, implement, and evaluate the sales strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Positive self-starter with a “hunter’s mentality.”

  • Ability to work effectively and independently without constant supervision while achieving productive results.

  • Experience generating and maintaining relationships with sales leads.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Willingness to travel overnight throughout the territory, including some flying.

  • Ideal candidates should possess at least two of the following competencies:

    • Working knowledge/understanding of concrete as a building material.

    • Understanding of construction adhesive chemistries (e.g., two-part epoxies, acrylics, urethanes, polyureas).

    • Experience with building supply distribution channels in the defined territory.

Education and Experience:

  • College degree with 3-4 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and sales experience in the infrastructure field is preferred.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to read and write English fluently and communicate effectively via phone or email.

  • Clear, articulate, and confident speaking voice.
