Kelly, in partnership with a growing manufacturing company, is looking for an Industrial Electrician in Coal City, IL
These are direct hire positions meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefits, vacation, and compensation package upon hire!

Job Description:
Safety Compliance:
- Strictly follow SOPs and work instructions especially for:
- Electrical Safety
- Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
- Machine Guarding
- Housekeeping
- SQF (Safe Quality Food, if relevant)
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Inspection & Maintenance:
- Regularly inspect, repair, install, and maintain electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
- Ensure all performed work meets local and national electrical safety codes.
Tool Usage:
- Use power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and specialized testing equipment safely and efficiently.
Technical Drawings & Instructions:
- Work from wiring diagrams, schematics, specifications, sketches, and both written/oral instructions.
Planning & Knowledge Application:
- Plan and carry out tasks requiring detailed knowledge of electrical/electronic theory and principles, wiring specs, codes, and operational principles.
Troubleshooting & Analysis:
- Analyze circuits, wiring diagrams, and network drawings for installation, repair, adjustment, calibration, and modification of various electrical control devices and systems (including PLCs and communication systems).
Servicing Electronics:
- Service electronic equipment (check, test, replace faulty components, circuit modules, PCBs, etc.).
Cable & Wiring Maintenance:
- Maintain, install, and repair communication and power cables/wiring, including conduit bending.
Equipment Adjustment & Repairs:
- Make running adjustments, execute repairs, overhauls, and part replacements as needed.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with mechanical technicians, engineers, and manufacturer representatives for equipment control support.
Reporting:
- Submit paperwork (time worked, repairs completed) clearly and accurately in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Experience in Electrical Troubleshooting
- Experience with PLCs and VFDs
- Ability to jump in to assist with Mechanical issues as well.
