What’s a typical day as Temporary Corporate Contracts Manager? You’ll be:

  • Drafting, negotiating, and managing a wide variety of agreements supporting clinical development and R&D activities, including clinical trial, confidentiality, consulting, services, research, and material transfer agreements

  • Supporting the contracting needs of Clinical Operations, Clinical Development, Research, and related R&D functions, addressing legal and business questions in a timely and practical manner

  • Reviewing, interpreting, and providing guidance on existing agreements; assisting with contract interpretation, compliance questions, and issue resolution

  • Identifying and assessing legal and business risks, clearly communicating them to senior attorneys and internal stakeholders

  • Collaborating with cross-functional internal clients (Clinical Operations, Research, Finance, and Procurement) to achieve contracting objectives and timelines

  • Maintaining contract records, tracking contract status, and supporting contract lifecycle management processes

  • Handling miscellaneous legal and administrative tasks as needed, under the direction of senior attorneys

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Hold a BS/BA degree in a related discipline and have at least 10 years of relevant experience (required)

  • Have a thorough understanding of the contract management process, including tracking, negotiation, approval, and signature workflows

  • Possess working knowledge of the drug discovery and development process and pharmaceutical contracting (preferred)

  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and effectively across functional groups and management levels

  • Are flexible, eager to learn new skills and procedures, and detail-oriented

  • Have strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and excellent written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Can handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and deliver under pressure to meet deadlines

  • Are dedicated to quality, reliability, and conscientious work performance
