Pay Range:     $17.50–$19.50 per hour (depending upon shift)

Shifts:               1^st and 2^nd

• Must be flexible to work 10 to 12 hours shifts when necessary, supplying coverage to other shifts

What’s a typical day as Forklift Operator? You’ll be:

• Operating sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, walkie riders, and pallet jacks to move, load, and unload materials.
  

• Assisting the warehouse manager to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
  

• Handling all inbound and outbound freight in an orderly and safe manner
  

• Staging, checking, and loading shipments properly, including cross-dock freight
  

• Maintaining accurate records and verifying shipments against paperwork
  

• Following all OSHA regulations and safety procedures, including daily equipment inspections
  

• Keeping the warehouse clean and organized with good housekeeping practices
  

• Using handheld RF equipment and general computer systems for inventory control
  

• Spotting trailers and ensuring efficient yard organization

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have at least 6 months of recent forklift experience (sit-down, reach truck, and EPJ required)
  

• Hold a high school diploma or GED
  

• Can lift and move up to 50 lbs. repeatedly through your shift
  

• Are comfortable working overtime or flexible shifts as needed
  

• Possess a general understanding of computers and RF equipment
  

• Have good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently
  

• Are comfortable working at heights and in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  

• Have a stable work history and strong sense of accountability
  

• Warehousing certifications are a plus
