We’re seeking Forklift Operators to work at a premier distribution center in Romeoville, Ellwood, and Joliet, IL. Sound good? Take a closer look below. Pay Range: $17.50–$19.50 per hour (depending upon shift)
Shifts: 1st and 2nd
- Must be flexible to work 10 to 12 hours shifts when necessary, supplying coverage to other shifts
- Overtime may be mandated for business needs

What’s a typical day as Forklift Operator? You’ll be:
- Operating sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, walkie riders, and pallet jacks to move, load, and unload materials.
- Assisting the warehouse manager to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
- Handling all inbound and outbound freight in an orderly and safe manner
- Staging, checking, and loading shipments properly, including cross-dock freight
- Maintaining accurate records and verifying shipments against paperwork
- Following all OSHA regulations and safety procedures, including daily equipment inspections
- Keeping the warehouse clean and organized with good housekeeping practices
- Using handheld RF equipment and general computer systems for inventory control
- Spotting trailers and ensuring efficient yard organization
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have at least 6 months of recent forklift experience (sit-down, reach truck, and EPJ required)
- Hold a high school diploma or GED
- Can lift and move up to 50 lbs. repeatedly through your shift
- Are comfortable working overtime or flexible shifts as needed
- Possess a general understanding of computers and RF equipment
- Have good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently
- Are comfortable working at heights and in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Have a stable work history and strong sense of accountability
- Warehousing certifications are a plus
