Stock Clerk – Temp Library Relocation Assistant (1-Week Assignment)

Location: St. Lawrence University
Assignment Dates: March 23 – March 27
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Rate: 22/hour

  • 30-minute unpaid lunch


  • Two 15-minute paid breaks


Job Overview

We are seeking detail-oriented and reliable individuals to assist with a short-term library relocation project at St. Lawrence University. This role plays a key part in ensuring an organized and accurate transition of library materials. Ideal candidates are organized, dependable, and able to work efficiently in a structured environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and sort books and library materials according to established guidelines


  • Accurately re-shelve items in designated locations


  • Assist with moving materials using carts


  • Maintain organization and attention to detail throughout the project


  • Follow instructions to ensure proper cataloging and placement


Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy


  • Ability to follow directions and stay organized


  • Comfortable working in a structured, task-oriented environment


  • Ability to push carts with materials weighing up to 50 lbs


  • Reliable attendance for the full duration of the assignment
