Kelly is currently hiring for a Lead Specialist – Human Resources position with our client located onsite in Mississauga, ON L5N 7K2 Part time role Mon to Friday (25 hr a week – Hybrid).

Title: Lead Specialist – Human Resources             
Location: 6925 Century Avenue, Ste. 700, Mississauga, ON L5N 7K2
Contract length: 12 months
Part time role Mon to Friday (25 hr a week – Hybrid)

Shift hours: 8 am – 1 pm EST
Pay range: $45-55/hr.

Qualifications:
• BS/BA in Human Resources or related discipline
• 8+ years of experience in Human Resources field; union/labor experience strongly preferred
• Well versed in Canadian labor and employment law and ability to interpret and apply policies
• Exceptional communication skills (oral and written)
• Demonstrated ability to drive change in an organization
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across all levels and areas of an organization
• Ability to influence courses of action and implement best practices
• Must possess excellent judgment, organizational, and strategic skills
• Experience leveraging AI to enhance your work processes is a plus
• Willingness to travel as needed to support sites (min 25% monthly)

Responsibilities:
• Communicate, implement, and support the delivery of HR programs for the site in alignment with the overall HR strategy and HR delivery model
• Provide overall Human Resources support to the site and collaborate as appropriate with our HR Centers of Excellence and HR Business Partners
• Interpret and administer site and country policies
• Prepare reports, collect data, develop summaries, and report status of any on-going legal matters
• Lead workplace investigations as needed; thought partner with other team members on investigations as needed
• Lead initiatives to build individual and organizational talent capability for the site and business
• Advise and counsel supervisory staff on effective employment practices to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies to effectively motivate the workforce
• Advise and counsel regional and global leaders on effective organization changes, employment practices, and proactive people strategy as needed
• Collaborate as appropriate within the HR team regarding improvement ideas and process simplifications
• Collaborate with Site Leadership to advance a culture centered on feedback, performance partnership, transparent communications, and a positive employee experience
• Resource for coaching to all employees and leaders in the organization with a focus on improving overall site and business performance
• Ensure compliance to company, government and/or local requirements and policies
• Travel to your different sites as business needs dictate, which will vary in frequency
