Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Fresno, CA
Pay rate: $22/HR
Summary:
We are looking for a dependable Material Handler to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring high-quality materials are available for customers, and providing exceptional service in the MRO Storeroom.
Responsibilities:

  • Operate computer-based inventory and purchasing systems

  • Perform inventory picking, staging, replenishment, and cycle counting

  • Issue and receive parts, equipment, and supplies as requested

  • Enter data into handheld or RF inventory scanners

  • Ensure record accuracy; conduct root cause analysis for discrepancies

  • Prepare paperwork for rush requests or special orders

  • Complete physical counts; enter findings into SAP and research discrepancies

  • Process transfer orders to and from Gallo storerooms

  • Store inventory efficiently and maintain back-stock locations

  • Maintain cleanliness and order in storeroom rows

  • Secure production material loads for safe transport

  • Drive lift trucks for storage and retrieval of materials

  • Maintain GMP/ISO/EMS compliance

  • Complete special assignments/projects as required by Team Leader or Manager

  • May need to gain DOT/hazard waste certification depending on location

  • Maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality

  • Understand and comply with relevant quality, environmental, and safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Experience with inventory systems (such as SAP) and RF scanners preferred

  • Forklift/lift truck driving experience

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and regulatory compliance

  • Reliable attendance and punctuality

  • Willingness to obtain certifications as needed
