Kelly Services is hiring a Research Technician I to support Conagra, a packaged foods company, in Denver, CO (80238). This is a 1-year contract with probability of being absorbed into a permanent role.


Pay: $17.50/hr
Schedule: Day shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM)
Location: Denver, CO 80238
Contract: 1 year (potential for hire)


Summary of Role

Under direct supervision, conducts bench-top and pilot plant testing to support new product development, formula changes, and production troubleshooting. Maintains organized lab spaces, prepares samples, enters data, and works closely with Food Scientists and Pilot Plant staff.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct bench-top and pilot plant testing


  • Set up, operate, sanitize, and maintain lab equipment


  • Support product innovation and production troubleshooting


  • Prepare and ship samples


  • Maintain lab organization and storage areas


  • Follow food safety and handling procedures


  • Set up purchase orders and use online specification systems


  • Train new employees on lab procedures


Requirements

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)


  • Ability to work with scales and learn new lab technologies


  • Strong organization and communication skills


  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn


  • Ability to analyze data and work independently
