What’s a typical day as an Advance Composite Technician I? You’ll be:
-
Manufacturing composite aircraft parts according to specifications in a team-oriented environment
-
Reading and interpreting work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches, and operation sheets to determine the correct sequence of operations
-
Inspecting work to ensure defect-free assemblies prior to inspection
-
Maintaining and updating production logs and records (MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs, DR/DI, etc.)
-
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment while supporting FOD and 5S programs
-
Participating in and supporting Lean manufacturing initiatives
-
Demonstrating competency in manufacturing processes through the Employee Effectiveness Review
-
Performing additional duties as assigned
This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

High School Diploma or GED
-
At least one (1) year of composite manufacturing experience
-
Experience working with composite resins and materials
-
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use a 6″ scale
-
Basic computer skills
-
Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes
-
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
