What’s a typical day as an Advance Composite Technician I? You’ll be:

  • Manufacturing composite aircraft parts according to specifications in a team-oriented environment


  • Reading and interpreting work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches, and operation sheets to determine the correct sequence of operations


  • Inspecting work to ensure defect-free assemblies prior to inspection


  • Maintaining and updating production logs and records (MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs, DR/DI, etc.)


  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment while supporting FOD and 5S programs


  • Participating in and supporting Lean manufacturing initiatives


  • Demonstrating competency in manufacturing processes through the Employee Effectiveness Review


  • Performing additional duties as assigned

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

  • High School Diploma or GED


  • At least one (1) year of composite manufacturing experience


  • Experience working with composite resins and materials


  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use a 6″ scale


  • Basic computer skills


  • Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes


  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

  • Location: Savannah, GA 31408


  • Schedule: Weekend Day Shift (Friday–Sunday)


  • Hours: 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM


  • Employment Type: 48-month contract
