What’s a typical day as Assembler? You’ll be:
- Assembling products or components by attaching parts using hand tools such as screwdrivers and wrenches.
- Following written instructions, diagrams, or schematics to accurately build items.
- Performing visual inspections to identify defects or misaligned parts.
- Learning and applying company safety rules and quality standards.
- Maintaining a clean, organized workspace and tools.
- Assisting team members as needed to meet production goals.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Possess basic mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn new tools and skills.
- Can read and follow simple instructions or blueprints.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Have the physical stamina to stand, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Are reliable, a good team player, and exhibit a strong work ethic.
- Hold a high school diploma or GED (preferred, but not always mandatory).
