Job details

Electronic Assembly Technician
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Schedule: Overtime and Saturday work available on a voluntary basis
Work Boots Required


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, electrically test, troubleshoot, and conduct quality control on electromechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies.

  • Ensure assemblies meet specified quality standards and maintain accurate quality documentation.

  • Read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings, schematics, bills of material, and standing instructions.

  • Use various hand tools, measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauge pins), and testing equipment (HiPot tester, Multimeter) to complete assembly tasks.

  • Assemble products according to work and standing instructions.

  • Calculate parameters and test finished products as specified.

  • Inspect inbound parts for geometry, dimensions, tolerances, and condition; ensure compliance with drawings/specifications.

  • Package and prepare finished products for shipment according to Work Orders.

  • Support ISO certification, participate in annual ISO training, and assist in document maintenance and audits.

  • Accurately receive materials arriving at the Assembly Center.

  • Document and control all non-conforming materials.

  • Assist with inventory management and perform other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven ability to read, understand, and work from complex schematics.

  • Strong experience in assembly; electromechanical assembly experience highly desirable.

  • Proficient in wire cutting, unpacking, and repacking as part of assembly processes.

  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills and exceptional attention to detail.

  • Extensive warehouse experience, including packaging and material handling.

  • PIT or forklift operating experience a plus.

  • Willingness to work overtime and Saturdays on a voluntary basis.
