Job Opening: Electronics Material Handler I (Assembler)
Position Title: Assembler
Job Classification: Electronics Material Handler I
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Assemble products following specifications, documentation, prints, and bills of material.
- Examine assembly parts and reject those that are unacceptable.
- Conduct in-process testing of machines to ensure they meet established quality criteria (set by the Q.C. Department).
- Assist Line Foreman as needed.
- Complete paperwork such as material move tickets, inspection data, in-process tags, reject tags, rework orders, and Corrective Action Reports as required.
- Learn to use the computer system for printing material move tickets as needed.
- Adhere to all company rules, policies, and safety procedures.
Departmental Reporting Structure:
- Handle Department: Reports to the Plastic Production Director.
- Tank Department, Air Vac, and Sub Assembly Areas: Report to the Plant Manager.
Experience, Education, and Skills Needed
- Mechanically inclined; able to use a variety of hand, air, and power tools.
- Able to read, write, and understand English.
- Detail-oriented.
- Eager to learn new skills.
- Excellent work habits.
- Ability to lift 50-75 pounds.
