Job details

Our well-established client in Markham, ON, is looking for a Bilingual (French/English) Customer Outreach Specialist to join their company in a permanent role.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Handle Incoming Cancellation Calls and perform Outbound call activities for past due policies

  • Handle direct returning incoming calls because of outbound activities.

  • Follow up on customer issues regarding claims, billing or other service concerns.

  • Assist customers in redrafting payments to existing accounts, setting up new account information, or collecting needed premium via credit card.

  • Cross sell over the phone.

  • Process routine requests for service items.

  • Miscellaneous department activities as needed.

 

Requirements:

  • Fluent in both English and French.

  • Post Secondary Education and/or minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a professional setting.

  • Licensed in Accident & Sickness, and Life Insurance: LLQP

  • Capable of effectively managing multiple tasks, including engaging with customers while completing paperwork and updating systems.

  • Outgoing personality with a talent for fostering engaging conversations.

  • Demonstrated understanding of sales principles and business operations.

  • Proficient in active listening and adept at identifying and resolving issues effectively.

  • Previous contact center experience required.

  • Strong communication skills with a detail-oriented and analytical mindset.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

  • This position will require successful candidates to work 8-hour shifts between 8:00am to 7:00pm Monday to Friday.

  • Flexible Scheduling: Adjustments to the work schedule may be necessary based on business demands.

 

Perks:

  • Work onsite Monday to Friday, 40-hour work week.

  • Annual salary is $60,000 – $65,000 plus monthly performance bonus
