Forklift Driver / Material Handler (2+ Years Experience Required)

Location: Auburn, NY
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay: $22–$24 per hour (DOE)
Job Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Driver / Material Handler to join our warehouse team in Auburn, NY. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of forklift experience and shipping/receiving knowledge, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining high safety and accuracy standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, move, and store materials


  • Receive inbound shipments and verify materials against documentation


  • Perform order picking, packing, and transfer orders


  • Execute inventory put-away and material handling tasks


  • Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories


  • Maintain accurate records using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)


  • Follow warehouse SOPs and safety procedures


  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED


  • Minimum 2 years forklift experience (required)


  • Shipping & receiving experience required


  • Forklift certification preferred


  • Experience with WMS systems (NetSuite preferred)


  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs


  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and safety awareness


  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Schedule & Pay

  • 1st Shift


  • $22–$24 per hour (DOE)


  • Full-time position with potential overtime
