Industrial Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift
$27–$30/hr | Full-Time | Lima, NY (Near Rochester)

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to support our 2nd shift production operations. This hands-on role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment to keep production running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
-
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment

Respond to equipment breakdowns during production

Assist with machine setup and production changeovers

Maintain and repair industrial sewing machines (Pfaff and High-lead preferred)

Read and interpret equipment manuals, work orders, and technical documents

Inspect equipment to ensure proper performance and safety
-
Maintain maintenance logs, repair records, and parts inventory
-
Collaborate with production staff to minimize downtime
-
Follow OSHA safety standards and company procedures
-
Maintain a clean and organized maintenance workspace
Qualifications
Required
-
3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing
-
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
-
Experience maintaining production or industrial equipment
-
Ability to read technical manuals and work orders
-
Basic math skills (measurements, tape measure, calculations)
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
Ability to work 2nd shift and overtime as needed
Preferred

Experience with industrial sewing machines (Pfaff or High-lead)

High school diploma or equivalent
