Job Title: Maintenance Worker
Location: Melbourne, Florida
Pay:  $20.00 an hour
Hours: 3:30pm-11:30pm 

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Worker to join our Facilities Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing day-to-day work orders, routine facility upkeep, and basic maintenance of equipment. You will play a key role in ensuring our facility remains clean, safe, and fully operational.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Facilities Supervisor/Lead to perform daily work orders.

  • Implement good housekeeping practices across the facility.

  • Perform custodial duties as assigned (emptying trash, mopping cafeteria and restrooms, replenishing towels and paper products, vacuuming offices and high-traffic areas, etc.).

  • Ensure janitorial supplies are well-stocked facility-wide.

  • Conduct basic repair and maintenance of production equipment.

  • Adhere to preventative maintenance programs and schedules.

  • Respond promptly to facility emergencies as needed.

  • Set up and operate all tools and equipment necessary to perform assigned work.

  • Perform minor landscaping and hardscaping on exterior grounds.

  • Assist with line and office moves in collaboration with Facilities Team Members.

  • Maintain cleanliness of work and surrounding areas.

  • Use manned lift (Lift Training Required) and eight-foot step ladders as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • 1+ years of experience in facilities, maintenance, or a housekeeping-related role.

  • Forklift and scissor lift certifications preferred, or the ability to become certified.

  • Knowledge of electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and painting preferred.

  • Ability to troubleshoot, assess, and implement solutions independently.

  • OSHA training preferred.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Reliable, self-starter able to perform duties with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to interact professionally at all organizational levels.

  • Hands-on, team player experienced in dynamic environments.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed; excellent attendance required.

  • Must be a US Person (per 22 CFR Part 120.15), which includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees/asylees, or temporary residents with amnesty.
