STORAGE FACILITY ASSOCIATE ONSITE
Location: South Gate, CA
Pay: $22.00/hour + Performance Incentives
Schedule: Monday – Sunday (flexible days off; weekend coverage required)
Must have previous experience, previously worked and or related skills.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and organized Storage Facility Associate / Site Manager to oversee daily operations of our storage facility. This role combines customer service, property management, and administrative responsibilities, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility while maximizing occupancy and tenant satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Leasing:

Welcome visitors and handle inquiries via phone and in person

Conduct facility tours and guide customers in selecting appropriate units

Explain lease terms and facility policies clearly

Manage rental agreements, payments, and account updates
Operations & Administration:
-
Monitor occupancy and follow up on delinquent accounts

Maintain accurate records in property management software

Manage inventory of locks, boxes, and other retail items
-
Assist with administrative tasks and reporting
Facility Maintenance & Security:

Perform daily walk-throughs to ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance

Handle minor repairs and maintenance (e.g., light bulbs, locks)

Monitor security systems and ensure gates and facilities are secure

Enforce safety and company compliance standards
Qualifications:
-
Experience in self-storage, property management, or facility operations preferred

Strong customer service and sales skills

Proficiency with computers and property management software
-
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, walking the property, and minor repairs

Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
Physical Requirements:

Walking, standing, climbing stairs, and performing light physical tasks

Operating small tools and on-site vehicles (golf cart or personal vehicle)
