Final Inspector / Quality Inspector – 3rd Shift

$21.62 – $27.02/hr | Full-Time | Clyde, NY

Monday–Friday | 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM | Direct Hire

Kelly Services is hiring a Final Inspector / Quality Inspector for a growing manufacturing facility in Clyde, NY. This position is ideal for someone with inspection experience, blueprint reading skills, and familiarity with precision measuring tools who takes pride in ensuring high-quality finished products.

Pay & Schedule

  • $21.62 – $27.02 per hour (based on experience)


  • 3rd Shift: Monday–Friday, 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM


  • Full-time, Direct Hire


  • 2nd shift opportunities may also be available


What You’ll Do

  • Inspect components, subassemblies, and finished products


  • Use precision measuring tools such as:

    • Micrometers


    • Calipers


    • Height gauges


    • Thread gauges


    • Comparators



  • Read and interpret blueprints and product specifications


  • Perform in-process and final inspections


  • Document inspection results and maintain quality records


  • Identify nonconforming materials and work with production and quality teams to resolve issues


  • Help ensure products meet quality standards and shipment deadlines


Qualifications

Required

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment


  • Experience using precision measuring tools


  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints


  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred

  • 1+ year of inspection or quality experience


  • Experience with weld or braze inspection


  • Familiarity with metal deburring


  • Basic Microsoft Office skills

Candidates with strong manufacturing experience and mechanical aptitude may be considered for training on specialized inspection processes.


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods


  • Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally


  • Perform close visual inspection work
