Inspection Associate – Custom Glass Production
Pay Rate: $17/hour (Temp to Hire)
Shift: Monday-Thursday, 3pm-1:45am (4×10 Schedule)

Position Overview:
As an Inspection Associate, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our custom-fabricated and painted glass components meet stringent quality standards for use in office furniture. You will carefully inspect finished goods, utilize precision measuring tools, and work closely with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues before products are packaged and shipped.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications to determine precise requirements and tolerances.

  • Analyze daily work orders to plan material needs and cutting priorities.

  • Set up and operate manual and automatic metal cutting machines, including CNC cutters and shears.

  • Measure, mark, and cut metal with high accuracy using tools such as tape measures, calipers, and squares.

  • Handle and organize raw materials to optimize workflow and reduce waste.

  • Examine raw materials for defects prior to processing and inspect finished items to ensure compliance with specifications and quality criteria.

  • Perform ongoing checks for dimensional and surface quality as required by project standards.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace; manage inventory of materials and tools.

  • Follow internal quality assurance protocols and industry safety standards to ensure products always meet expectations.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in metal cutting, fabrication, or manufacturing is preferred.

  • Ability to read technical drawings and use precise measuring instruments.

  • Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.

  • Physical capacity for long periods of standing, heavy lifting, and repetitive tasks.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Positive attitude, team-oriented approach, and strong work ethic.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training is a plus.
